love this city

I have so much Melbourne pride. Some reasons why:

The food - Vietnamese on Victoria St, Italian on Lygon, dumplings in China Town, hot jam donuts and boreks at the Vic Market, alleyway cafes, and multi-cultural food stands at the night markets in Summer. There's something for every taste.

The music scene - some of my best nights out were spent dancing/moshing at Festival Hall, The Corner Hotel, The Forum, The Palace Theatre etc. Or there's free entertainment at places like the Night Cat, summer concerts at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and of course buskers on every corner.

The sports capital - I love going to the Aussie Open every year and seeing the biggest names in tennis as well as cheering on local talent with the fanatics. And if you're into AFL, cricket, rugby, or soccer, the MCG and Melbourne & Olympic Parks have you sorted.

I plan on travelling the world but this will always be home sweet home. And not to brag but Melbourne's been named The World's Most Liveable City for the third time in a row. Take that Sydney.
